Age is the only requirement for this level. No prior experience is required.

Adults should wear any of the following to class:

• fitness attire: t-shirt or tank top (but no midriffs please), yoga pants, sweatpants, or leggings
• ballet attire: leotard, tights or leggings, skirt or shorts if desired
• ballet shoes for ballet technique class are strongly encouraged for proper traction on marley flooring; socks are acceptable but may be slippery

Hair should be secured out of the face.

Dancers who perform in the recital will have additional required attire basics for the performance, such as ballet shoes, tights, and a leotard (either foundation/nude or black).

New! Performing opportunity for adult students

Students in this level are invited to participate in the end-of-season recital. To opt-in, dancers add the 30-min choreography segment offered after the Tuesday class time. Dancers will begin learning choreography elements in the fall, with final preparations (and no further additions to the class) being made in January.

Recital costume fees are now factored into tuition rates (Perform+ choreography segment). A student who only participates a partial season in the Perform+ element may owe a partial costume fee.
